I really just haven't been bothered with my blog this week to be honest. A combination of being busy and recovering from the ridiculous Bank Holiday Sunday.
Hey but today comes forward with great news! I have a white iPhone 4 - and on launch day! Finally ditched the 3GS - I just hope the iPhone 5 doesn't come out in June - I will be fuming.
Royal Wedding tomorrow - strangely looking forward to it.

An afternoon in Grimsby?

Arriving early, we were treated to a view of where we used to live......
What a fucking shit hole :-)
Moving on, we gathered in a pub to see Steve on the occasion of his birthday. Great to see him, and Petko, as always. We simply don't see Steve enough, and I always thoroughly enjoy his company - not to mention the piss taking galore that we all partake of.

Sarah Jane Smith
As this is a very new blog, I guess I haven't had a chance to say how sad I was to learn of the passing of Lis Sladen - Sarah Jane Smith from Doctor Who. I was reminded by the fantastic tribute paid by CBBC this evening.
Perhaps the archetypal "companion" of The Doctor, Lis started in the 70s with Jon Pertwee and continued on with Tom Baker.
Delighted when she returned for "School Reunion" with David Tennant's Doctor - and pleased for her that she received the accolade of her own series "The Sarah Jane Adventures" - to be honest, every bit as good as Doctor Who itself.
Gutted to hear she has died, after a battle with cancer. Rest in Peace, MY Sarah Jane.

I really enjoyed the opening episode of Season 6. A triumphant return for The Doctor, River Song, Amy and Rory. And a great new appearance from The Silence :
Looks to me like he needs a nice cup of tea.
Great to see this is a collaboration with BBC America, and reassuring to know it wasn't a total sell out to the American market.
